Chinese ink and water-based mediums on paper

‘Third Space’ is an imagined space that does not physically exist. Within this space lies my encounters with nature from two geographical locations, Singapore, and UK. Two distinctly sets of florals dominate each composition. Through this series, I express my desire to see the co-existence of these flowers and the blending of various emotions, people, and places I call home. I perceive nature as a carrier of my personal memories, and a ‘clearing’ with a possible sense of belonging.
