The undulating horizontal format of this work, while suggesting the expansive continuity of the natural world, appears to obscure the view at several points. This work plays on the idea of 'hidden nature’ with the impossibility to gain full access, into a possibly layered, complicated world. I have also chosen to hide a part of the painting that I am partial to, for sometimes, the most beautiful things in the world are those we cannot see.
