Dr. Jennifer Ng received her first formal art education at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (Singapore), where she was trained in the mediums of traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy and seal-carving.

Further developing her practice, she adopted an interdisciplinary, research-based approach, working with a broad range of mediums and forms. Believing in the narrative potential of materials, she uses diverse materials to articulate her observations and ideas, with the hope of transforming them into new understandings.

Over the years, she had presented art and research internationally. Some examples (UK) include The London Art Biennale, the Royal Society of British Artists exhibitions, the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists exhibitions, the Women In Art Fair exhibition, the Bath Fringe Festival, and performances in London, Bath, Manchester, and Singapore. She also exhibited at the Singapore Art Museum, Stamford Arts Centre, the National Institute of Education Gallery, The Substation, Your Mother Gallery, Ion Art Gallery, and the Yavuz Gallery (now Ames Yavuz) .

She also co-founded The Artist Company (SG) in 2019, an art research project that explores and curates collective art-making.
