Interesting paint marks on cloth, not unlike Chinese ink painting paper. They appear like stains that gradually seeps into the material.

The mess behind the scene. Unlike traditional lanterns that used bamboo supports, I chose metal boning that were often used for making corsets. It definitely looks and feels different from the traditional ones, in fact in every possible way. So much have been substituted it makes one wonders at what point did it become an entirely different thing altogether?
